YOGA & PILATES
Yin Yoga & Healing
-
Yin Yoga is a calm and meditation-inspired style of yoga that focuses on stretching and opening the body's deeper tissues – fascia, ligaments, and joints. In this class, each posture is held for an extended period, allowing you to deeply relax and truly feel the effects of each stretch.
Yin Yoga offers a wonderful way to build flexibility, promote circulation, and cultivate a sense of inner stillness. Unlike more dynamic yoga styles, where movements are faster and more active, Yin Yoga encourages presence and mindfulness in each posture, creating a meditative and soothing experience.
We use healing techniques such as Sound Healing, Reiki and Pranayama (yogi breath) into this class to shift energies and create balance and harmony in the body and mind. Through instruments such as singing bowls, crystal bowls and other healing sounds, you are guided into a meditative state where you can release stress, tension, and restore your energy.

Yoga for Hip Opening **
-
This class invites you to gently open and release tension stored in the hips—one of the body’s most powerful and often tightest areas. Through slow, mindful movements and longer-held stretches, we create space in the hips, pelvis, and lower back, allowing both the body and mind to soften.
The hips are deeply connected to how we move through life. Physically, they support mobility, posture, and stability. When the hips are tight, it can lead to discomfort in the lower back, knees, and even affect your overall alignment.
On a deeper level, the hips are often described as a space where we hold emotional tension. By opening this area, many experience not only increased flexibility, but also a sense of release, grounding, and emotional ease.
Expect a nourishing practice with seated and reclined postures, conscious breath, and time to truly land in each shape. This class is suitable for all levels and especially supportive if you feel stiff, stressed, or simply in need of slowing down.
Come as you are—and leave with a little more space, both inside and out.
Ayurveda Teaching & Yoga Flow
-
A class in two parts. We begin with Ayurveda, a theme, a topic or a tip from the tradition. It might be about doshas, sleep, food, the body's daily rhythm or something else from the world of ayurveda. The second part is yoga with poses that benefit all doshas. The class moves through flow, standing and seated positions and ends with rest or meditation.
The doshas are the three core life forces in Ayurveda that shape our health and personality: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Derived from five natural elements, each person has a unique mix that controls how their body and mind work.
Restorative Yoga
-
This is a class for rest, not movement. Using bolsters, blocks, and blankets to fully support the body, we hold a small number of passive poses for extended periods, allowing the nervous system to shift out of "go" mode and into deep relaxation. There is no flowing, no strengthening, and no active stretching — just stillness, supported comfort, and slow breath.
Ideal for anyone feeling depleted, stressed, or in need of true rest. No experience necessary.
